Auxilium College of Arts and Science for Women, Regunathapuram, is a minority Catholic Higher Educational Institution, undertaken by the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, Province of our Lady of Snow, Tiruchirappalli, a religious congregation, committed to the welfare of women empowerment for decades. The college started its long journey of reaching out to the poor and rural young women in the year 2007 with just 3 students and now it has grown up to 1000 and more students. The College is affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and is accredited with an ‘A’ Grade in I Cycle by the NAAC. The Institution Innovation Council and NPTEL Local chapter was established. The goal of our educative endeavor is to provide holistic formation for women of first-generation higher education, especially from rural areas who will be the leaders in facing the international challenges of the current scenario. The college focuses on the quality culture of the institution in terms of IQAC towards quality initiatives, sustenance, and enhancement as reflected in its vision and mission.
The Department of Mathematics was established for the UG program in the year 2007. It was upgraded with the PG program in the year 2013. The department has 8 faculty members with rich research and teaching experience. The objective of the department is to encourage, teach, and train students at all levels. The department conducts various seminars, workshops, and competitions to enrich the knowledge of students. In the past 15 years, the department has made steady progress in encouraging the students to participate in paper presentations, and intercollegiate competitions/events held at various colleges and preparing them to secure top ranks in the university. The department has well-qualified faculty members and plans to become a research department shortly.
The Department of Computer Science and Applications has been functioning in the college since 2008. It was upgraded with the PG program in the year 2018 and with the vision to research programming in the succeeding years. The objective of the department is to mold the students with professional excellence and to impart the technologies with social and spiritual values. The department makes every effort to update its curriculum to enhance competence and employability. At the same time, the department ensures that the demands of employability do not affect academic excellence and the pursuit of knowledge. This department has earned its reputation for academic excellence by securing top ranks in the university and also getting placement in various companies.
ICRTMCS-2023 invites all the speakers, delegates, faculties, researchers, industrialists, and students to grace with your presence for the “International Conference on Recent Trends in Mathematics and Computer Science” on 19 - 21 October 2023.
ICRTMCS-2023 is a multidisciplinary conference organized with the objective of bringing together eminent academicians, research scholars, and students to exchange ideas, communicate, to discuss research findings and new advances on recent and emerging trends in the field of Mathematics and Computer Science. Moreover, the conference would also enable participants to explore new fields and gain immense knowledge.
The conference will strengthen contacts and foster cooperation among academicians, research scholars, and students. The participants will learn the new strategies to write research articles in the emerging field of Mathematics and Computer Science. The abstracts will be published with ISBN.
