Enhance and Sustain quality strategies to ascertain and develop competencies for excellence in higher education.

OBJECTIVES

• To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
• To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC

• Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
• The quality of the institution is checked and the innovations are monitored.
• Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
• Helps in framing the action plan and report of various committees such as academic, sports, library, examination, anti-ragging, sexual harassment, grievance and redressal, research and development, entrepreneur and development cell in the college.
• Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
• Motivates and encourages the faculty in research activities.
• Monitors students’ progress and support services.
• Prepares AQAR and the SSR for submission to NAAC.
