Auxilium College of Arts and Science for Women has actively launched ICT Academy initiatives on its campus to enhance skill empowerment and provide industry-relevant training to both students and faculty. ICT Academy, an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with State Governments and Industry, is a not-for-profit organization and the first of its kind under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model. It focuses on training higher education teachers and students to develop the next generation of industry-ready professionals. ICT Academy was established to meet the growing skill requirements of the industry and to generate employment, especially in Tier II and Tier III cities of India. With active participation from both government and industry representatives, the academy works through seven key pillars: Faculty Development, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Youth Empowerment, Industry-Institute Interaction, Digital Empowerment, and Research & Publications.
Through its initiatives, ICT Academy strives to provide holistic services to all stakeholders of the education ecosystem, ensuring the development of a talent pool capable of becoming skilled employees, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. It is endorsed by NITI Aayog, aligning with the Government of India’s vision for Skill India, Digital India, Startup India, and Make in India. By collaborating with public and private organizations, ICT Academy bridges the gap between academic output and industry requirements, giving every learner an equal opportunity to become industry-ready.
To be a leading ICT knowledge center, providing consultation and training through industry-specific research, thereby creating a new generation of talent.
Auxilium College, through ICT Academy, collaborates with public and private organizations to create, integrate, and disseminate knowledge in the field of ICT, bridging the gap between academic outcomes and industry requirements, and providing every learner an opportunity to become industry-ready.
